Anglican Benedictine Nuns

The Work of Hospitality

Guests arriving Meeting and talking with our Guests

Hospitality has always been an essential part of the Benedictine tradition. A Benedictine guest house is a place of welcome and blessing for as St. Benedict says, 'Let each guest be received as Christ'. The Malling nuns welcome 3,000 guests each year: individuals for retreats, groups for quiet days, those coming for special events such as Heritage Open Days, and our oblates, families and friends.
